Larissa’s specialty is in engaging and inspiring people to take action to make the world a better place. Having worked in the not for profit sector for over a decade she helped make an environment group into Australia’s preeminent nature conservation organisation. She was a leader and core team member of a project that increased their fundraising income by over 1500% to an annual turnover of thirteen million dollars.
She helped establish their fundraising and comms teams, started and managed their countrywide in-house membership acquisition program and then worked to keep their members and supporters by developing supporter relations programs. Her efforts lead to the best membership retention rates in the country and contribute to the protection of Australia’s natural wonders.She has studied graphic design, attended numerous fundraising courses and workshops, completed one of Australia’s best Leadership programs and written papers on how to inspire, engage, build relations with and retain supporters.
Larissa sends out daily quotes to a growing email list to inspire people during their day. Currently she is establishing a website BusyLama to empower people to realise their purpose. And, to participate in writing a new story for the world to live by, to help bring about a global shift in consciousness and alignment with nature and universal intelligence.
Larissa is a director of Tribe Rising to share her knowledge and strategic skills to assist ethical groups to raise more money, increase their supporter base, build lasting relationships with their supporters and ultimately win campaigns to reverse the current climate trend, protect this planet we call home and improve the welfare of animals and social justice for all.
